Developed in 2020 in response to the pandemic, the Hub aims to connect people together. We provide a relaxing environment to chat over refreshments and the option of getting some help if needed.
It is is open on:
Tuesdays 11am -12pm – Pop Up Shop: Pay £2 and fill your bag with groceries from our tables. All the food is donated from local shops and supermarkets to be used for the good of the community. Refreshment’s also available.
Thursdays 10-1.30pm – The Hub is open for everybody just to chat and enjoy refreshments and excellent cake! A simple lunch can also be provided free of charge. Activities are available if you are the creative type, or if you need further support, Walton Parish Nursing are always on hand to check your blood pressure and help. We also have advisors from Christians Against Poverty if you have any debt worries and loads of ways we can support you. Our Vicar, Rev Paul is also usually about, mostly for the cake(!), but he is also willing to chat about church or spiritual matters!
Cafe Church – Fourth Sunday of every month 3-4pm – The Cafe church is for all those who want to experience church, with a difference. Informal, fun & sometimes interactive we enjoy the facilities of the hub such as tea and cake, whilst listening to a short pause for thought and a chance to pray. Open for all ages, just come along and enjoy.
