St Philip’s Community Hub

 

Developed in 2020 in response to the pandemic, the Hub aims to connect people together. We provide a relaxing environment to chat over refreshments and the option of getting some help if needed.

 

 

It is is open on:

Tuesdays 11am -12pm – Pop Up Shop: Pay £2 and fill your bag with groceries from our tables. All the food is donated from local shops and supermarkets to be used for the good of the community. Refreshment’s also available.

Thursdays 10-1.30pmThe Hub is open for everybody just to chat and enjoy refreshments and excellent cake! A simple lunch is provided free of charge. Activities are available if you are the creative type, or if you need further support, Walton Parish Nursing are always on hand to check your blood pressure and help.  We also have advisors from Christians Against Poverty if you have any debt worries and loads of ways we can support you.  Rev Wendy Smith, Wendy Fellingham (Licensed Lay Minister) and Margaret White (Licensed Lay Minister) are also usually about and they are also willing to chat about church or spiritual matters.  

Church Every Sunday, 11am – The church is for all those who want to experience church, with a difference.  Informal worship starting with brunch of tea, coffee and toast.  Open for all ages, just come along and enjoy.
