Rev Paul’s Update: News on our services

Dear friends,

We are fast approaching Christmas so I thought I would update you with our planning for Sunday services moving forward into the new year.

As you may know, we are operating Zoom services only until the end of the year with the addition of our seasonal services, some of which will be streamed via Youtube.

Starting on January 3rd we will be having ‘in person’ church services once again. As before, you will need to book in advance and numbers will be limited. There will be an online form available nearer the time. Services initially will alternate between Walton & Trimley Churches, starting with Walton on the 3rd. All services will be at 10am.

For those that still do not wish to come in a service in person we will also be streaming the service online. This will be via Youtube and full links will be provided. You will be able to click on the link and view the service on a tablet, phone or laptop. After the services we will all join together for a Zoom coffee morning and once again a link will be provided. This will start at 11am for those who want to join in both for those who have viewed the service online or been in church.

This pattern will continue until lent, when things will be reviewed again depending on the Covid-19 restrictions. It is hoped that we can once again work towards having a service in each church, every Sunday at 10am. This could be in time for lent, but realistically maybe in time for Easter Sunday.

The Sunday Service via Felixstowe radio will continue as normal, 5pm every Sunday.

If you need any help with accessing the services please do ask.. we are here to help. Thank you for your patience during this very strange and tough year. We have learnt new technology and continue to try and adapt to every changing circumstances.

Rev Paul
